Fudgy date brownies

These fudgy date brownies are irresistibly moist and perfect as a sweet treat. Enjoy every bite – ideal for a special moment or just because!

INGREDIËNTEN

Fudgy date brownies

Ingredients :

  • 300 gr sukkary dates
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g butter
  • 250 g dark chocolate (70%)
  • 25 g cocoa powder
  • 50 g flour
  • pinch of salt
  • vanilla extract
  • handful of walnuts
For the Ganache:
  • 100 ml whipped cream
  • 100 g dark chocolate

Additional requirements:

  • Brownie baking tin 20x20 cm
  • Baking paper

Preparation method

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a bain-marie.
  2. Blend the dates and eggs in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Add the date batter to the melted chocolate and butter, along with vanilla extract.
  4. Add the dry ingredients and mix gently.
  5. Pour the batter into a lined baking tin and bake for 25 minutes at 175°C.
  6. For the ganache: heat the whipped cream and pour it over the chocolate. Stir well and pour over the cooled brownie.
  7. Decorate with walnuts and put in the fridge for a while. Cut into pieces when the ganache has set.

Once the chocolate has set, cut the brownie into pieces and enjoy!
